Production
Look beyond the office concept
Stefani production is based on aesthetics, functionality of use, sustainability and reduced environmental impact and that is why:
- the panels all come from controlled deforestation and certified forests.
- the packaging is made of easily separable and recyclable materials
.- the products are easily reconfigurable or disassembled, to extend the life cycle and facilitate recycling
.- all raw materials are formaldehyde
-free and the painting processes are with non-toxic powders.- all products include quality controls at every stage of production and this to ensure a high standard and maximum attention to every detail.
Our philosophy is all contained in 7 points, which we wanted to summarize in a poster:
The history
STEFANI s.r.l. was founded in 1978 in Faenza, initially as a retailer for the office sector and collective places, collaborating with architects and designers to also create “turnkey” solutions. In 2005, the evolution of work spaces and the lack of design sound-absorbing solutions on the market led the Stefani company to become a manufacturer, designing each item directly in the company. Exclusive and minimal furnishings together with sound-absorbing surfaces create a range with a transversal design that focuses on acoustic comfort, aesthetics and functionality, exponentially increasing the interconnection between man and work space. To date, there are 8 series of products that meet the different needs of offices and collective places.
"The meeting between the beauty of silence and design".
Today, improving the quality of life in the workplace cannot ignore the health of our planet and of the person in private life.
The design of our products is focused on the environmental impact of every single phase of the production and life cycle, and for this reason we adopt choices that take into consideration: the materials and their quality (safety, toxicity, etc.), the use resource efficiency, product life, use of energy to prevent pollution, use of recycled materials or certified renewable resources (e.g. wood from forests or plantations managed with sustainable criteria).
"sustainable production, ecological furniture in accordance with European standards and with certifications concerning environmental sustainability and health protection"
- respect for the environment starts with design.
We use raw materials that can be easily recycled or come from recycling- easily recyclable products. Each product can be easily disassembled and reconfigured to facilitate reuse or recycling.
- easily recyclable products
Each product can be easily disassembled and reconfigured to facilitate reuse or recycling.
- extension of the life cycle of products.
The quality of the materials used and the durability of the finishes extend the life of each product. In each production cycle we pay the utmost attention to reduce or eliminate scraps.
- use of ecological packaging
Each package has been chosen by carefully evaluating its recyclability and quality, in order to minimize the quantity used.
Where possible we use EPAL type pallets compliant with FICHE UIC 435-2 and 4 regulations, specially designed for reuse, guaranteeing the extension of the life of the packaging.
We choose RESY branded cardboard, which, by identifying the manufacturer through the identification code number and nationality, certifies the suitability of the packaging to be collected for subsequent recycling. The cardboard used thanks to an external coating in virgin cellulose has a high mechanical resistance in order to guarantee the arrival of the product intact and guarantee no waste of fuel, time and waste production.
We have minimized the use of polystyrene, used only for glass packaging
- reduction on formaldehyde emissions
We produce furniture that has the lowest environmental impact for us.
- we use the KANBAN method
A tool that Toyota has also used for years to visualize work and maximize personal and business efficiency.
- ecological communication
We are investing to reduce the need for printed paper, enhancing the website www.stefanidesign.it, increasing the illustrative material in PDF format and using 4.0 software.
- working at km 0 to reduce CO2 emissions
The processes envisaged for our products are all carried out near the headquarters and production, in order to reduce transport and fuel consumption.
Azienda
acoustic wellness & design furniture
STEFANI s.r.l.
